Lewis & Knopf’s Managing Principal Named to Local Chamber’s Operating Board
Thomas Shade, CPA, Managing Principal at Lewis & Knopf CPAs, P.C., was recently named as a member of Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce’s Operating Board.
“I have been an active member of Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce for quite a while,” said Shade. “In my new membership with the Chamber, I am committed to keep up with carrying out its mission and will use these new opportunities to grow on both a personal and professional level.”
As Managing Principal, Shade specializes in serving professional service providers including physicians, dentists, pharmacists and attorneys. He also works with a variety of entrepreneurial industries including auto dealerships, construction and real estate.
Shade is a graduate of Alma College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Accounting. In addition to his new role at the Chamber, he also serves on the organization’s Regional Leadership Council and Strategic Board. In addition, Shade is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Midsize Firm Advisory Council member for the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), Genesee Global Action Team, Genesee Global Intermodal Initiative, Flint Financial Advisory Committee member for Daniel Kildee, 5th District Congressman and board member for Flint YMCA. Shade currently resides in Davison, Michigan with his wife, Kimberley.
