Local Accountant Named Treasurer of IMA Recreation Association

Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, P.C. is pleased to announce that Jeff J. Sabolish, Manager, has been named treasurer of the IMA Recreation Association.
“I am delighted to offer my services to IMA Recreation Association,” says Sabolish. “It is an honor to be a part of an organization that provides such support and benefit to our community.”
In April 2008, the Boards of Directors for the IMA of Greater Flint and the IMA Children’s Recreation Fund (formerly the IMA Foundation) voted to merge the two organizations into the IMA Recreation Association, a charitable nonprofit organization. The mission of the IMA Recreation Association is to provide recreational programs and opportunities for children and families throughout Genesee County. The IMA Recreation Association’s programs support sports, recreation and education while fostering good citizenship and team efforts. The Association includes programs such as the IMA Greater Flint Area Baseball/Softball Commission, Davison Adult Softball, Flint Junior Golf Association, and co-sponsored after-school and summer programs with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint.
Sabolish joined Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, P.C. in 2007. In his role as manager, he provides comprehensive tax, auditing, accounting and consulting services to the firm’s clients. Sabolish works with clients in a variety of industries including professional services, construction, dealerships, distributors and recreational facilities.
Sabolish maintains active involvement in numerous professional and community organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Builder’s Association of Metro Flint and the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management Alumni Association. In addition, Sabolish has held leadership roles with organizations such as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), Swartz Creek Chamber of Commerce and the IMA Children’s Recreational Fund.
