Local CPA Firm Adds New Team Member

The local accounting firm of Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, P.C. recently announced the addition of Ashley M. Mikulenas to its team.
“We are confident Ashley’s previous roles have given her the necessary knowledge and technical skills to help us serve our clients more efficiently and effectively,” said Thomas Shade, Managing Principal of Lewis & Knopf. “We look forward to her contributions to our firm.”
In her role as administrative assistant, Mikulenas performs a range of administrative support duties for Lewis & Knopf’s executive team. Her responsibilities include preparing audit and tax reports for the firm’s clients and executing other special initiatives.
Prior to joining Lewis & Knopf, Mikulenas served as a secretary at At Home Network in Bingham Farms, Michigan. She also worked at the University of Michigan-Flint as a receptionist for four years. For the past two years, Mikulenas has been an instructor at DeCamp’s Spotlight School of Dance in Burton. In addition, she was a company member of Michigan Dance Project in Brighton this past year.
Mikulenas is expected to graduate with honors from the University of Michigan-Flint in December 2008 where she will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She maintains active involvement in numerous organizations and is an annual participant at the Taste of Fenton Auction. In addition, Mikulenas has held leadership roles with several University of Michigan-Flint organizations such as the Student Dance Organization and Phi Sigma Sigma-Theta Iota.
