Denise Coon Firm Administrator

Denise joined Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, P.C. in 2000. As the firm administrator, she is responsible for staff supervision and training, strategic planning, human resources, quality control and marketing strategy.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as an account representative at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Her current and previous roles have given her the necessary experience to assist the firm and its clients with a broad range of technical and strategic issues.
Denise’s knowledge and technical skills have helped the firm experience significant savings over the years. Specifically, she has implemented a paperless billing process and electronic deposit system for the firm.
Denise was drawn to a career in the accounting industry due to her high school accounting classes and her father. She attributes her success to the great working environment at Lewis & Knopf and the partners’ willingness to teach and help her grow professionally. In addition, Denise credits the relationships she has built as a result of her membership with the Association for Accounting Administration (AAA).
Denise grew up in Flushing, Michigan and currently resides in Davison with her husband and children.
