Dave joined Lewis & Knopf as a principal when his previous firm, Millhouse & Holaly, LLP, merged with the firm in 2001. As director of tax services, David provides comprehensive tax, accounting, and consulting services to the firm’s clients. He works closely with clients with multi-state operations in a variety of industries, including construction, dealerships, and real estate.

Spearheading a number of the firm’s unique service offerings, David also specializes in employee benefit plan design, selection, and implementation. He is a member of the firm’s Estate Planning Group, providing tax planning for individual income and estate tax purposes.

Dave grew up in Flint Michigan where his father was also an accountant. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, and card games, and going to the movies with family and friends. He currently resides in Grand Blanc, Michigan with his wife and two children.
