Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, P.C.’s Director Named as Board Member and Treasurer of the Flint Institut

Thomas Lillie, CPA, CFP®, Director at Lewis & Knopf CPAs, P.C., was recently named board member and treasurer of the Flint Institute of Music.

“The Flint Institute of Music plays an important role in the success of the Flint community,” said Lillie. “I look forward to carrying out my term on the board and helping enhance the programs provided by the FIM.

As a director, Lillie works with clients in a variety of industries including: real estate, retail and wholesale, professional service, and construction. In addition to his assurance and tax planning capabilities, he heads up the firm’s Financial Planning Division.

Lillie is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. In addition to his role at FIM, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Flint Association of Insurance Advisors. Lillie is also on the board of trustees, development committee and exhibition committee for the Flint Institute of Arts and the investment committee for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
