Lewis & Knopf Announces Retirement
Lewis & Knopf, CPA, P.C. is sad but proud to announce the retirement of valuable team member, Donna Peters.
Peters joined Lewis & Knopf in 2017 via the firm’s merger with Fausey & Associates, a firm that she had served for over two decades. Though her official retirement date is January 31, she will continue to work during the 2020 tax season.
“It is with mixed emotions that I congratulate Donna on her retirement—I am happy for her, but I know that she will be sorely missed,” said Greg Waller, CPA, CGMA, Managing Principal of Lewis & Knopf. “I am very grateful to Donna for her many years of dedicated service to the accounting profession and I wish her the best as she enters this exciting new stage of her life.”
A 1984 graduate of Oakland University, Peters earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA), Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and the Kiwanis Club of Fenton. She currently lives in Fenton with her husband, Tim. In retirement, Peters is looking forward to spending more time in her favorite role—grandmother.
