Audit Manager
We are currently seeking an audit manager who will manage attest and accounting engagements for some of the firm’s largest clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing strong working relationships with client owners, leaders and/or managers
- Initiating, planning and reviewing engagements
- Mentoring and developing staff by providing performance feedback and teaching skills for problem identification and solution
- Providing valuable input in the development of policies and procedures; communicating them and holding people accountable for following them
- Staying current on relevant and emerging specialty, industry, market, tax and accounting issues and communicate to firm members and clients
- Maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
- Generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions for current and prospective clients
- Meeting firm productivity, quality and customer-service standards
- Identifying and implementing cost saving and process improvements

Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Certification as a Public Accountant
- 5+ years of technical audit experience in a CPA firm environment
- Experience managing staff
- Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills
- Successful practice development track record
- Ability to handle multiple engagements
