Since 2020, Ashish has been a valuable member of the Lewis & Knopf team. He currently serves as a manager in the firm’s Tax Department. In this role, he specializes in tax work for foreign corporations—inbound and outbound—doing business in the United States and expatriates living abroad. He works primarily with clients in the manufacturing, IT services, real estate, and construction industries. This is not Ashish’s first time with Lewis & Knopf—he briefly worked as a staff accountant with the firm in 2015. The bulk of his six years of accounting and tax experience was spent with BDO Canada.

Ashish’s philosophy of client service is to understand his clients and their needs. He also strives to always work ethically. Ashish chose to pursue a career in accounting because the field always presents a new challenge with every assignment. 

Raised in India, Ashish lived in various countries, including the United Kingdom and Canada, before eventually settling in his current home, Fenton, Michigan. He is happy to live near to his family, who also eventually settled in Michigan. In his free time, Ashish enjoys playing golf, traveling, and trying out new types of cuisine.
