What year did you join Lewis & Knopf?
June 2016 as an intern, then I was hired full-time in Jan. 2017 as a staff accountant.

Tell us a little about where you attended college and the degree(s) you earned? Any special accomplishments.

I attended Trine University, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree (BSBA). I was a starter on the Men’s Soccer team (four years).

What is your favorite thing about living in Michigan?
The outdoors.  No matter what you’re doing, whether it’s hunting, fishing, being out on the lake, or just walking around outside, there’s just something peaceful about being outdoors.  Also oddly enough, the weather. I don’t think I’d want to be somewhere that was warm year-round.  I like that we have four seasons.

Tell us a little about your family.

Born and raised in Goodrich, MI.  I have three brothers (22, 22, 6) and one sister (20).  All are  close to finishing college and starting careers, except for the little guy, he’s just trying to get through 1st grade.  My dad was a former CPA, and my step-mom is an RN.  My mom and step-dad are both teachers.

What is a new skill that you would like to master?
Golfing.

What do you wish you knew more about?
DIY projects in general.  It would be nice to be able do everything.

What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
Cancun

What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
I can recite the alphabet backwards.

What silly accomplishment are you most proud of?
I solved a Rubik’s cube once.

If you had a clock that would countdown to any one event of your choosing, what event would you want it to countdown to?
The end of the CPA exam.

What was your first job?
Lab tech at a Pool Store.  Just a fancy term for the guy who would test your pool water and recommend ways to fix it.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Teleportation would be cool. Sometimes getting from Point A to Point B just needs to happen in the blink of an eye.
